I've been listening to Josephine Baker lately. Here's her "La Petite Tonkinoise": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g767axFHHdE.

It wasn't the bullet that laid him to rest...

And don't forget John Barleycorn.

Old Crow Medicine Show...

Listening to the Alabama Shakes channel and this one popped up. A little out of the norm for this channel but it’s now embedded in my ear…

I think it was 2005 Telluride Bluegrass festival when I saw these guys live. I want to say they sang with Gillian Welch on Look at Miss Ohio, but that was a long while ago now. Wagon Wheel is quite the earworm in fact their debut album is full of them. I really like Take ‘em Away it still sneaks into my brain from time to time.

Eying Songs to No One by Jeff Buckley and Gary Lucas. What an amazing artist, Jeff Buckley, taken too soon.

Stuck indeed: I learned these two tunes for my band recently, and now they are deeply embedded in my brain, playing on a non-stop loop during all waking -- and, unfortunately, all Supposed To Not Be Awake -- hours.

Thunder on the Mountain. First time I saw Bob Dylan was 1964. 50 years or so later, he can still bring it.

Interesting, saw him 20 years ago and almost walked out, mumbles. Good thing opening act was great.
