Took the new to me Giordana Polaris out on a 25 mile shakedown around the valley. Grabbed a couple of pictures while out.

Took out the 650b modified 1981 Fuji S12-s today. Cool and overcast but I beat the rain while getting in 31 very comfortable miles.

First ascents in my own backyard are rare for me. Saturday was my first time up Mt. Disappointment, next to Mt. Wilson (the distant peak with the antenna array in the third photo). Brutal little 20% section at the top but well worth it.

Last weekends 100 mi

This is Lake Cresent at 7:00 AM on freshly paved Hwy 101 around the lake I am going around the back side on a new section of the Olympic Discovery Trail. It was one of those perfect rides. I even got a flat but that did not diminish my pleasure for this days ride.

Surly

[Hi sib,
Did you get my private message? I'm not sure that it worked.

QUOTE=sib;2395457]Hey bobj,
The frame model, the brakes and tires you're using, and how it rides!

I also just like the way it looks - particularly the crankset and shifters - so I thought if there was a dedicated build thread I'd be able to ogle some more photos.[/QUOTE]
