Paradise
Even in mist/fog, the views from Paradise are pretty impressive. That is the Tatoosh Range poking out of the clouds. In another three weeks, the wild flowers will be at their absolute best, and the snow (the grey in the foreground) will be all gone. As for the ride, great fun today (pretty chilly!); while this is only 5400’, it is a legit ride when you start at 400’.

First off, nice set-up on the vert and bike, looks solid.
second - you're going to have to help me out here, i'm intrigued.... what the hell is going on in the background of this photo? am i seeing the perspective incorrectly? that looks like a giant 25' tripod and telescope? what are we looking at back there?
