Photos from your rides.
I rode a small portion of the Ronde van Vlanderen route this Saturday, including Oude Kwaremont, Paterberg and Koppenberg. The first one was relatively easy, but I couldn’t do the Paterberg without dismounting. Gave me a newfound appreciation for people who race this route; those cobbled climbs are insane!

Here are a few more shots I took during my ride this morning (hopefully not overkill for the rest of you). |

Just completed my 12th Ride the Rockies. Breckenridge to Edwards to Steamboat Springs to Grand Lake and back to Breck. 448 miles and 28,600ft of vert. Great to see old friends and meet new ones!!
Hope the photos show why I like this ride and why I love Colorado!!IMG_20180610_093856-01.jpgIMG_20180611_091705-01.jpgIMG_20180611_093003-01.jpgIMG_20180612_105946-01.jpgIMG_20180613_092540-01.jpegIMG_20180613_201734-01.jpegIMG_20180613_202433-02.jpegIMG_20180614_122726-01.jpegIMG_20180614_125303-01.jpegIMG_20180615_083431-01.jpgIMG_20180615_113227-01.jpgIMG_20180615_134451-01.jpg Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk |

Sierra foothills looking pretty dry. Here in IL we had 4" of rain last week and temps are running about 10 degrees above normal, meaning 90s. I finished building the Look at 1 AM so that was enough incentive to get me out on the bike for an hour this evening despite the heat and humidity. I love the New Success parts but it's getting harder to find good bits these days. If anyone has Sachs/Modolo/Mavic brake pads, I need some. Spent hours last night fitting alternative shoes to the New Success calipers. I have other road bikes with New Success but this is the first one I've built with a long cage RD. It works great with the 12-32 cassette. Next project will be to build some wheels with NS hubs. Nothing wrong with the Fulcrums except they are a lot newer than the bike. I have a couple of 135 spaced New Success cassette hubs on the shelf, will have to see if I can narrow one up.

Rode halfway around Lac Leman (Lake Geneva) today. The scenery is amazing. Will ride the other half tomorrow.

Coolest mailbox ever. The bike even has a pair of old speedplays on it. My only regret in taking this pic is that I stuck my bike in front. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
