I was watching the video and it advanced to the next one. Her music is pretty. She was playing what looked like a Fairbanks Whyte Laydie from around 1905 (unless it is a replica). I have one just like it. Never saw another one before.

I recently bought a CD player again for the first time in 10 years and just ordered a turntable. I had a pile of gift cards and discounts and decided I'd been listening to headphones and digital files long enough..

Been thinking about all that stuff about having to listen to an album 250-500x on streaming for the band to make as much money as if you bought an album. Con Todo El Mundo is an album I have listened to a TON the last few years, but not 250x.

I learned a bunch of the Rage songs on guitar recently. Spending that kind of time and not having ever bought the album seemed especially nuts.
