Foo Fighters’ Best of You, at the moment. I listen to the Foos often on the trainer. That must have been the last song to play on yesterday’s ride.

Magic Tramps

While parusing Angry Mom's record shop in upstate NY this was playing on the store stereo system. I thought.."hmm, that's interesting" and I bought it. Busted it back out the other day and listened to it and thought, "Hmmm, why did I buy this??". Now it's currently stuck in my head.

Was it just the atmosphere and the smell of vintage albums, tape, and CD's melting my brain that led me to this purchase? I could care less if Andy Warhol and his groupies were a fans...which apparently they were. That's cool if you dig it, but I'm not feeling it.

Now, on the other hand, another time I was in the same shop they were playing a Kelan Phillip Cohran and the Hypnotic Brass Ensemble album. I was digging the groove while getting high on the smell vintage viynl then as well. I ended up buying that album and it's still a regular in my rotation today.

You win some, you lose some I guess.

Trombone Shorty has been stuck in my head a few times.

Tickets to Jason Isbell this Fri, stoked!

Then to Richard Thompson and Josh Ritter

Good fall, desperately wanted to see Punch Bros with Sarah Jarosz, but not doable.

Man, can he pick!
You know he will play "1952 Vincent Black Lightning" - there's nothing in this world beats a '52 Vincent and a red headed girl.

Riding in Colorado.
Discussing music.

Someone brought up "Don't Pay the Ferryman."
Now I'm doomed to it in my head.

I tried to come back with Fickle Heart's "Driver's Seat."
Failed.

I desperately tried to bludgeon it with Kenny Wayne Shephard, Ringo Starr's All-Star Band, and John Hyatt, but it's still stuck in my head.

The horrors, the horrors.

Second or third time this year…..Cold War Kids, hang me out to dry……the spinning sound near the end reminds me of a freewheel.
