Below is my old 2005 R6 track bike. A former Robert Jensen bike. Had the highest trap speed at Daytona in 2005. 180 something I'm told.R6 TWS 2011.jpeg |

The RZ oh boy, like the one you wish you could forget! I high-sided an RD400 at a thankfully very low speed (I scrubbed off a lot of speed while moving sideways before my throttle-chop finally caught up with me and I hi-sided, ouch. |

Serious Monkey business. She likes her Banana yellow more than my Nebula red. Women, what do they know.

I seem to recall seeing one or more of these in the very late 1970s also with no air filters, just coarse screen domes, but being ridden on the street. I sort of cringed at the thought of the longer-term cost-per-mile, couldn't fathom that the bikes were ever sold like that. |

Earlier British and Italian bikes of 'sporting intent' were sold with just open stacks for decades. In a fairly wet environment it really wouldn't be a huge deal as the top ends weren't really long lived anyway! But on real public roads today, I would never run open velocity stacks on a bike I liked... |

This is probably going to put a hurting on our bicycle fitness. We have been riding two up more and more lately, so we decided to get a better bike for it. This thing is amazing.
Picked it up yesterday near State College, Pa. The ride home was about 140 miles and temps were between 35 and 40 the whole time. Thought I would freeze, but actually had to shut my electric vest off. The heated seat and hand grips, plus the windshield keeping the air off me, left me cozy the whole time. |

R-RTs have always had great weather management.
