Since this thread is about brakes... Always loved the brake routing on this one. I've thought of building another with the same paint more than once.

For a long time, this was my go-to bike. Posting now because the world is poorer without OG Spooky:

This is my current rim brake whip. The world needs more Zanc, too:

That SV was at the Speedvagen Sale and at the Chris King open house, so there are more photos floating around.

Here's another. I actually dont like the orange seat mast/topper though, it seems at odds with the rest of the paint. I would have done that part a bit differnetly, otherwise, great looking bike.

This is the best all around bike that I have ever owned. It hits all of the sweet spots at a great balance point. I have bikes that are lighter, stiffer, maybe are smoother on rougher pavement etc., but this one does it all. It is a Carrera Drago…Columbus Altec 2 tubing, Campagnolo Record ten speed, Fir tubular rims, ITM bars and stem. Quick handling without requiring any effort at paying attention to it.

Looks much better in person. Have to say that all of Chaba's bikes are rim brake perfection!

That SV looks like they took cues from the old Crest/Cannondale pro team.

thank you. I have tried several wheels, I had no problems with all of them as long as the actual rear tire width was between 25-26mm. Mavic tubular wheels, Mavic R-sys Premium, HED Ardennes.
