here's my Rick Jones at the end of a week riding the Adventure Cycling Idaho Hot Springs Mountain Bike Route, which was absolutely incredible and very recommended.
A whole lot more photos if interested...

I finished putting this together on Friday. Coconino Dirt Road Racer, fillet brazed steel, Ultegra 8000 rear derailleur, 9100 front, RS 685 levers, RS 785 calipers, White Industries XMR hubs 32h, WTB KOM I23 rims, Thomson post and stem, Salsa bars, Regal Saddle, and WTB Riddler tires. It rides as good as it looks.

I did it solo, yea, but only did 300 of the 500 mile route, plus about 100 miles that weren't part of the route, which was the original plan due to schedule constraints, part of which was being in place for the total eclipse a couple days into the ride.

Rodeo Labs Flaanimal

Finally able to contribute to this thread after a slow build process. Rodeo Labs Flaanimal 3.0 steel frame with their carbon Spork. SRAM 1x drivetrain with AB 44t Direct Mount Oval chainring on SRAM Force crank (with Stages PM) and Shimano 11-42 rear. SRAM Force 22 hydro shifters and flat mount calipers. Bought the wrong shifters so it's setup moto-style. Didn't know SRAM sold shifters setup that way, but I managed to order them unintentionally

Ritchey C220 stem and NeoMax bars. Fabric Scoop saddle. Enve M50 rims laced to CK hubs, shod with Soma Cazadero 42's (tubeless). 23# on the nose. First shakeout ride (no bar tape, rear brake cable needs to be shortened). Really impressed with the ride. Super smooth, planted ride. Excellent fit. 1x provided seems to provide all the gearing needed, shifts nice and crisp and didn't notice huge gaps. Drivetrain, frame and tires (even on roads) were all super quiet. Look forward to getting a lot more miles on this one. Next test will be to swap wheels to the Snoqualmie Pass's. Probably de-logo wheels and maybe go with black saddle.

Nothing too crazy today... just cruising around Wildcat Canyon, Grizzly Peak...

Campy H11 is a god send. So far everything seems well designed and thought out... no 1st gen silliness. For all you campy lovers out there with discs... you won't be disappointed when you switch over.

Also I'm really digging the new Enve 3.4's! Pricey, but I'm glad I stuck to my guns and got them. They just work so well and do what you want. Very confidence inspiring. Crosswinds haven't bothered me at all, and I am super appreciative of that!

May not have quite the startin up torq in the rear wheel as the Bora's, but I think the extra width is going to be nice trade off as soon as I wear through these 32m MSO's and get to try something new.
