Yes! So underrated and not very well known composer/musician.

Oh, and Edwin’s version is the best!

What are your epic sonic albums? Lots of good music out there, but fewer and fewer albums that are complete.

Dark side of the moon is too easy, but has to be all time tops for me.

Listening to daft punk random access memories currently and it definitely fits the bill.

What are your favorite albums that kill it all the way through?

Pale Blue Dot

Given world events, and in contrast to Edwin Starr's classic song, it seems apropos to bring up Carl Sagan's classic monologue as well.
Pale Blue Dot is the farthest photograph of planet Earth ever taken. It was taken on February 14, 1990, by the Voyager 1 space probe from a record distance of about 6 billion kilometers (3.7 billion miles, 40.5 AU), as part of the Family Portrait series of images of the Solar System.
"The Earth is a very small stage in a vast cosmic arena. Think of the rivers of blood spilled by all those generals and emperors so that, in glory and triumph, they could become the momentary masters of a fraction of a dot. Think of the endless cruelties visited by the inhabitants of one corner of this pixel on the scarcely distinguishable inhabitants of some other corner, how frequent their misunderstandings, how eager they are to kill one another, how fervent their hatreds."
