Love it when this thread gets bumped

I was away from my boys for the longest time so far at 12 days. They were both a bit suspect of me at first after I got them back, but quickly decided that they wouldn't leave my side for the next 72 hours. Literally.

Our dear old friend, Bella, posted here last fall, died in January and our new friend, Rosie, joined us from the local SPCA in February. She has learned the ropes fairly quickly. Dearly loves to chase a squirrel and is an oddly efficient killer of mice and voles in our small back yard.

Rosie sez “High five on taking killer naps!”

Happy Vibes - Forum Dogs

Cancer sucks. I lost my best friend and constant companion about 6 weeks ago. I’ve had pets for all of my 50 years and never grieved the loss of one as much as I have with him. There will never be another one like him, but I will definitely rescue another Great Dane when the timing is right. They are fantastic dogs.

Really sucks, sorry for your loss. They just don’t live long enough, it’s unfair.

B4, You did good to rescue him and he is eternally grateful.

These are my two little but lively Yorkies.
Not sure how to flip this 180 degrees, so oh well for now!

Love this thread. I posted somewhere else in this a while ago, but here's an updated photo of my 14 year old pup Sallie at Dairy Joy after a particularly difficult physical therapy session. She goes in the underwater treadmill once a week to keep her strength up even though her back legs are failing her. She has a mild case of DM and some other spinal inflammation issues.

And yes, she got her very own frozen yogurt with a dog bone on top.

My girl Gretchen. Mostly Chow & something else. She is very accomplished at laying down in the grass.

LOVE Chows. I've had two mixed. They're super sweet dogs. A bit territorial but that's okay with me.
