Ebay has some TP, but it's used

My son made the move to a Japanese-style bidet years ago. Now he's gloating.

I had no problem getting TP at local CVS yesterday. (I'm not stocking up, was down to last roll and bought 2 4-packs)

Extra oil can be refined into materials used to make derriere-wiping implements

Also, if anyone in the Midwest need TP, we have quite a few rolls to spare

With a 9.99% drop in the DJIA today, Herman Cain's 999 plan is finally a thing!

Buying CCL, XOM, and BA at close today. Dividend stocks on sale got 25% of my remaining free capital keeping in line with my risk tolerance and current needs.

The thing with dividend stocks is that in a recession, dividends are one of the first things cut. Not saying don't buy dividend stocks, just saying don't depend on the current yield (take a look to see if what these companies did regarding dividends in 2008)

Agreed. At current levels, Shell's dividend is HUGE. But factor in the low oil prices and it would be a shock if it wasn't drastically reduced...

Of course, it could come back in the months/years ahead, and so getting any dividend stock on sale only helps in the long term -- if you are hoping to generate regular cash flow from it.

Knowing that I won't be touching my Vanguard retirement accounts (ROTH IRA, Traditional IRA, HSA Investment account and current 401k) in the next 20 years I felt fine using my personal Brokerage account to pick up a few beaten down stocks with some available capital. These aren't aimed to support daily life needs now or in the future.

Yes it has been politely pointed out that it is up 52% in the last 52 weeks which constitutes a year but isnt the same thing as "in 2020".
