Yes, it was an absolute wreck when we started the project! Started with the roof and then a full gut and now the remodel ahead. It's up on the Great Sacandaga, so needs all the insulation it can get!

My winter rebuild/overhaul of my old Hampsten. new and or upgraded parts new bar wrap and ohh my favorite part my new to me Hyperon tubulars with Veloflex tubies. Hopefully done next week. Oh I bought some nice brass barrel adjusters from Kirk frame works, these will probably be the only thing I can afford from Kirk the are purty. Oh and yes yes dont worry the bike is just resting on that clamp I was just getting ready to repostion the frame when I took the picture.

Pinarello F8 w/Foo-Foo parts to hopefully get it to 13lbs which might be unobtainium.

Update: The target goal was easy(13.07 w/CLX 50's and should hit 12 with my 32's). Just got the SL6 and aiming for 11lbs.

Honestly don't know anything about OVAL. I salvaged the rim from the co-op a few weeks ago, happened to have a 18h hub sitting around, decided to go ahead and build it up. Also got a matching rear OVAL wheel from a friend several months ago who got it from another friend who had left behind after he passed away from cancer.

It's really interesting how seemingly unrelated events come together and produce a result like this.

Oval was/is the house brand for ASI (Fuji, Kestrel, etc). I don't have many miles on mine but they have been solid.

Grandsons push bike rebuild.
Probably most fun I’ve had lately.
Paint the frame, grease the wheel bearings, they hardly turned.

Will finish paint tomorrow with a bright green. Then put together and wait for the downtube decals to show up.

Building something nothing to do with bikes. Heavy work bench for my small woodworking shop that I’m slowly getting set up. I’m happy with how it turned out. I have drawers for storage of tools etc installed now but don’t have a decent picture of it.

Making progress - just got stringing to do, and then figuring out the fender situation, and connecting the lamp and decaleur. Flite Ti is just a placeholder..
