The Fitz looks great all loaded up. I am also intrigued by the coffee setup. I've just about given up to getting Starbucks Via packets as I keep misplacing my collapsable filter funnel.

The filters are from Coghlan's. They work well and I can't imagine a smaller or lighter brewing setup. It's only a little more work as you need to hold the filter above the cup as you brew the last third or so, but it's not a big deal. The mugs are pretty basic Snow Peak and Toaks ti 450ml cups, but my buddy made the coozies himself. We both have carbon felt to hold the cookpot and silicone lip bands on the cookpots and mugs. The Helix coffee makers that use #2 filters are good options; they work well. This Ortlieb looks cool. Yeah, props on the purple spork. Beautiful photo of the Golden Gate, Bob. |
