Somewhere on Youtube is a vid of Astana winter camp with the team riding up this road, with Leipheimer, Horner, Contador, and others. Contador was the only one smiling, now I know why. It's a real bitch!! a 11-30 or 32 cassette would come in handy for sure.

My friend Devin took this one yesterday on our ride near Oakhurst, CA. It was 106F at home in the valley, about 75F at 7000'. I didn't want to come home.

Since I generally don't take photos during the rides, mine are mainly from the coffee shop. Pictured is a stock MeiVici SG next to a custom Sarto Asolo with Campy EPS, carbon wheels and even an English BB.
