Jess of Comare Cycles here in Petaluma built it with an NOS Columbus MAX tube and lugset. It was a challenge getting big tire clearance with these road based parts, bit he did it. I can fit narrow 35mm 'cross tires (Kenda Small Block Eight) or 28 road tires and fenders (28s no fenders in pic). Powdercoated frame/fork/old Salsa quill stem. Recently upgraded from Cantis to Paul Mini Motos. Running Campy Record/Chorus 10.

I normally ride a 61-62 x 59. I've used a 110mm stem for years (I also use a 120mm stem on two other race oriented bikes). The Cielo is a 59 x 59. It's fits me well.

Concours CX
Here's a stock Coucours CX I picked up a little over a year ago. Great bike -- have changed a few things since getting it (like that bad green tape, and the brake position). Like Veloduffer mentioned, not many of these around -- mine was the 2nd 59cm made -- is there a 3rd out there?

Calfee Cross
Calfee Cross, hybrid drive train of Campy square taper CT cranks, Shimano Ultegra Di2, disc brakes, Reynolds tubeless carbon clinchers, Woundup disc specific cross fork. I modified the Di2 a little so the battery would sit up nice and high beneath the saddle.
Raced several times at a few Ultra CX races in 2012. Currently converting the mechanical disc brakes to a Hope V-Twin hydraulic setup, 160mm Hope floating rotors front and rear. http://www.cyclingdirt.org/coverage/...ss-Calfee-Disk Last edited by BikeTech; 03-15-2013 at 08:14 AM. |

Nice Poprad, is that the Reynolds 853 tubeset version? I have that same Mavic Open Pro / Ultegra wheelset (currently on my road bike); love them from cyclocross/ gravel to road - they are great do everything wheels. fairly light for 32h, strong, and great rebuild-able hubs.
