Post up if you have any issues with the durability of the 3D printed parts. I bought a Fizik ICS style mount for my Garmin Varia Radar, but had concerns after I bought it that it may be too brittle and never mounted it.

The fizik mount is solid, yet flexible where it needs to be on the clip piece where it meets the saddle. It was a bear to get in there, I doubt it is coming loose, let alone out.

I've had issues in the past with the metal k-edge stuff coming loose. I much prefer this barfly mount. It was cheaper $25 on amazon, and includes a plethora of mounts with it.

Thanks, I was referring to the 3D printed stuff from Shapeways. I have a few k-edge pieces I've been really pleased with (Garmin mounts, chain catchers, etc.)

Thanks for the info. My 3D printed one is very stiff at the clip as well. Nowhere near as nice to use as a Cateye mount on my wife's bike.
