PNS is hugely popular in Asia. I see it everywhere. I've not seen it at all in socal.
It's great looking stuff and you're right, very high quality.
I really like the Mechanism line. Considering buying it but kits have become an addiction!

I'm still a large across the board in bib shorts though. The shorts/chamois is pretty dang good. About a month ago, I drove from Portland OR up to Seattle WA just to try the stuff on. Metier cycles in Seattle is the the closest retailer that carries the stuff. Made a fun day out of it with the family, but was so glad that I tried the stuff on instead of just ordering online. They had a hot bike there and told me to try the stuff on and ride their stationary (Which happened to have the same saddle I use) for 5 minutes and test it out. From what I could tell, the chamois was very impressive. The Quality is VERY high and looks to be pretty durable. I LOVE my MAAP gear, but I have not liked any of the designs they have released in the last 2 years. So I started to look for other options. I have had the opportunity to try out a European brand called Marcello Bergamo and it had been very impressive. I bought a ton of it and recently sold off a couple pieces after realizing just how much I bought. After deciding I was going to pull the trigger on the PNS, I sold off 3 Marcello bergamo kits and 2 MAAP kits to help make room as well as give me some income to buy this PNS line. Its all relative to other top shelf brands, but good lord some of the PNS items are wicked expensive!!! Hoping it will end up being worth while

Got these, care nada about able to use iphone with it but my PI gloves wouldn't keep my hands warm in the middle of summer..so on a rec from a gent here...hope they work down to 35 degrees or so..YOU know who you are!!

Side note on fit..I bought XL, don't have huge hands and these are still snug(no liners possible)..Seems the fingers just get longer on XL vs 'L'..

Thanks. Looking forward to getting this one dirty, and converting my current CX to either SSCX or winter roadie.

The smoking deals on Raleigh's seem to have ended this week. Price has almost doubled on this same bike since the weekend!

Been on the lookout for a budget Colnago EPS, ha ha. Found this instead, perfect size and condition.

I only recommend these for real men...but if you are nancy, then, (ahem) this might not be warm enough for you.

New fork

There was a package waiting for me yesterday from Steve Hampsten when I got home. My wife was curious as to what was wrong with the fork I had but rather than go into a long explanation I just said this was nicer. She accepted that. I'll post pics when it's installed.

Carbon-ti hubs on special. Along with a couple of other Carbon-ti bits.

Going to build a second wheelset for the gravel bike. Carbon rims this time.

Weight should be under 1200gm

new commuter

Just picked this Giant Cadex up on ebay to turn into a commuter. Stripping everything off it and putting some sim-works getaround bars on it and converting to 1x10. Should make a pretty chill commuter bike.

At the Philly Bike Expo, I purchased a Clever Hood Cape (Electric Glen Rain Cape) and a Anniversary Silca Hex Key set with apron. Plus I talked to Eric Estlund about building my new bike, just need to send the deposit.
