260 miles from Ottowa to Montreal

Took a week, but we stayed in some premium properties along the way.

Lake Meech:

Champlain Overlook at Parc Gatineau:

Chutes de Plaisance:

About 20 miles west of Montreal:

No hills here. Plenty of wind today though.
Took 90 minutes to get out 20 miles. Half that to get back home. Solo so I was in it.
Found a nice tractor for sale at the end of the road.

Have been doing a lot of morning rides that include lots of dirt roads. Cool air, good light...

Yeah, the picture is taken from Hyde Park, South Side Chicago. First ride in four months after being sidelined by a hip injury!

It is the only titanium bike I've ever ridden, but I love the Lynskey Sportive. Wonder how it would fare on your Merlin/Holland/Serotta Ti shootout (although it may be one or two centimeters smaller than those)

Riding downhill on a mixed terrain trail and heard a loud pop. Stopped on the side to hear hissing coming from my back tire, along with seeing the sealant bubbling and sealant having sprayed everywhere.

I let the sealant try to seal it up before I head on my way, but it was just losing air incrementally.

When I got home I checked out in detail as to what caused this whole thing, and pull this thing out (Pulled out halfway):

The actual thing:

The hole that is left on my WTB Nano:

Needless to say, I need a new tire! I foolishly didn't carry a tube, but I was able to get home, frequently stopping to pump more air. Fortunately no issues with the rim tape or rim.
