* and, something fun. I went to Portland on a whim last summer, rented a cheap hybrid Fuji, and rode around town for a week. Covered 200 miles, lost a few pounds (even though I was basically riding from restaurant to restaurant much of the time) and had a blast.

It's a lugged steel frame with beautiful colors and made of Columbus Thron tubing.
