This is one of the photos Karl posted in his thread. The top picture is just an amazing bike, and just my style. Anyone know who owns that one?

Oh my, just lovely. Thankfully way too large for me; but this will certainly inspire a bike I hope to build out before too long.

I searched "Speedvagen" today in Google & the business info lists it as "Temporarily Closed". Anyone know what's up?

I have no info on Speedvagen specifically, but those google status listings aren't fully reliable.

We used a local drain cleaning business a few years back. Earlier this year we needed them again. Google search said "Permanently Closed", but I found a phone number and called. They were still very much in business, but had moved locations. Somehow google translated "we aren't at this location anymore" to "we're out of business".

Perhaps something similar is going on at Speedvagen? Maybe they are moving locations? Again, I have no knowledge on the Speedvagen situation.

Chris

They are moving spaces, Google often labels this as permanently closed.

Ahhh, "bandwidth"

"Value-added" for the 21st century. 100k a month in fixed cost may seem a little crazy, but maybe not for Portland...and they probably have expensive taste

I know they are no longer renting so there's a mortgage on a fairly large building. Payroll must be a big chunk between Speedvagen and Coat....Several folks have left recently so not sure of current head count though.

Did you view post 136 in this thread? Seems to summarize that business isn’t good.

SV started out with batch made road and CX bikes. I remember posts about people being in the queue. Have they done such ready made batches in recent years?

Yes, I did. I'm a fan and follow news on sv. Maybe the ig poster meant from the old location.

Oh...that!
It's just your run-of-the-mill Carbon-Ti X-rotors at around $235 per rotor.
