Snapped

A carbon Bontrager seat post on my mtb and bought a Ritchey Al WCS to replace it. Ever have to ride standing up for about 2miles to get out of the woods? It sucks.

Another addition.....

Just picked up another NOS Schwinn Paramount 50th Anniversary frame set.
Still in the original box with all paperwork!

Took a chance and bought this on ebay. Had been looking for a disc cross bike in steel or Ti and this came up (Steel Planet X). Condition was much better than I could have hoped for and rides like a dream. Swapped out saddles, seat post, and put on some knobbies, and took her for a ride yesterday.

My first custom bike. Yes.... custom for someone else.... but.... it's still custom!

Shimano winter shoes. First ride was today at 40 degrees - toasty toes, almost too warm!

2 x Pro Turnix carbon saddles
1 x Pro Turnix Ti saddle
2 x CX70 front derailleurs

I've decided that Antares saddles aren't my cuppa after a few years of fiddling with em.

I like the CX70 front derailleur on the Altamira, so I got 2 more to go on the other bikes.

The last bit of Castelli gear I bought was some shorts. Managed to rub a hole in the inner thigh. D@mn velcro on the seat bag got me. Now the only time I can wear em is under tights.

I've had good luck with my Nanoflex arm warmers. Going on two years now and still look new.
