Interesting that in 11 pages and there are only three or so Harleys posted. What is it with this forum? Mostly Honda classics, Ducatis, and BMWs??

Oh well, guess that I'm no maverick, here are mine

'72 Honda CB350 (my high school sweetheart)

79 Honda CBX

My Ducati Monster before and after mods

and the requisite Beemer (canister has been removed)

Did the snow monster do that?

As I was driving to work today I noticed that the roads seemed to be clear and dry. Unfortunately, my driveway (about 200' long) is compacted snow over gravel and since I'm a complete newbie at the moto game, I don't think I'd be able to get my Ninja 300 out to the road. Since I haven't ridden it recently, I do want to at least start it up and let it idle a few minutes.

No snow monsters, just excessive speed and a distracted split second. On the bright side, I do walk with a sexy limp now.

Added: You probably shouldn't start and idle your bike mid-winter. It could result in moisture condensation in your engine and exhaust system.

Thanks. An ST3 was once on my lust list. I'm leaning more to a BMW gs now but I'm not that well groomed.

I have a line on an 06 Special Edition, but I need to sell the ST3 before I can buy the next bike

Thanks! Have to admit I was mostly drawn to its looks too. The hyper aggressive looks of new bikes don't really appeal to me. Not sure what you mean by slab sided but I like the flat lines of the tank to tail and the prominent frame peeking out.

Guess it spoke to me being a child of the late 80s/early 90s. Plus it falls in line with the aesthetics from the golden era of motorcycles. Prime example being: Honda NSR250

Wish I could call that mine.

Slab side as in the flat body panels.
And have been looking for a nice clean early GSXR.
