56 miles on Saturday on some new roads. Didn't make it to the Twin Sisters hills in the distance...luckily |

Windy but gorgeous day on Saturday in southeast Michigan. I'm gradually getting to know the network of dirt roads enough that I can adjust the route on the fly depending on how much time I have and how I'm feeling – usually not enough and not so strong, respectively. :-) |

Lunch ride today. So many different types of stuff to see and ride on the Chantry Flats ride.
Mtn views. LA views. Trail views. A nice hiker couple saw me taking pics of my bike and offered to get a pic of my heavy slothy a$$. Last edited by AllanVarcoe; 05-08-2017 at 04:57 PM. |

Is that Upper Winter Creek? One of my favorite runs/hikes.

Chantry Flat and then a fire road up to the Helipad, then fire dirt roads up from there. Not sure what it's called after the Chantry Flat park.

Since I'm on a road bike, I've never really explored past the helipad. Stunning up there this time of year. |

Oh, no, that one looked narrow from the road.
So, I assume you live near by. Are you ever available to ride around lunch time? Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk |

Today I rode my bike to 10,678 feet above sea level (overlooking Albuquerque) then played in the hills a bit. A total of 5787 feet in elevation.
This is me. |
