Tuesday tool recommendation
If you work in an everyday service department that deals with a lot of older bikes that are equipped with stubborn fixed cups, this will save your ass about 3-4 times a year.

Tuesday Tool Thread
Sorry I've been slacking on this thread.
I just picked up some Roboreel's... goofy at $300 but worth checking out for $99 (closeout at Lowe's). I hung one up and it's pretty cool! |

Testing out my recently acquired CDI TorqControl torque wrench here in the calibration lab at work.
This is what I got on the tester. I didn't copy down all decimal places. I'm happy enough with the accuracy. |

I was thinking about the Park Tools version, but this one has a slightly wider range, is easier to adjust, and was a little cheaper (around $55 IIRC) FWIW, to keep its calibration, it's important to "loosen' the torque wrence when it's not in use. |

Here's the tool kit from a 1955 Ferrari 250 Europa GT Berlinetta I saw on Tuesday of this week.

These guys just arrived in the mail yesterday. They had been on backorder when I ordered them on a big sale, so I totally forgot they were coming. More excited than I should be about allen wrenches:

Does anyone have experience with this?
I have an MTB and CX that are/are going tubeless and am looking to be able to pop beads. Will a 150 psi electric really be enough? |

I used the regular barbed end of a compressor quick connect and hose clamped a head from an old pump I cut off. Works fine.

I have a similar one and works fine for tubeless... just make sure the compressor has some sort of tank (tiny one is fine) and not one of those mini things.
