If a deals too good to be true then it isn’t.

And pawn shops are probably the worst place to try to find a watch. Or anything, for that matter.

If your kid wants some bling then tell them to identify the object of desire then come to you for purchasing advice and assistance.

Also, Tag Heuer is more in the realm of Polo Ralph Lauren for clothes even though they’re under the LVMH umbrella. If your kid wants Cartier or Louis Vuitton level then best look elsewhere.

I am always just looking. Not for anything specifically.
Here is a photo of the watch.

The Tag Heuer crest is a bit different. That might be the giveaway.

Guilloche

Speaking of watches, I saw this come up in another circle of mine and figured Y’all would enjoy as well. Scroll to the bottom of the page and watch the video: http://www.rgmwatches.com/guilloche

Hi Ron,
Hope all is well. Sure another one is calling, but you should keep your Stowa. Tried to put in a good plug for you on WUS.

Here's mine.

Love the little sub cutout, being made of submarine metal.

And not sure it gets much better than Ball and their indices.
Sweet watches - have you purchased from Gnomon watches a lot? What is your experience? They have a few Ball Watches I've been drooling over.

I have a Ball Cleveland Express. Great watch and I love that very few people really know of Ball Watches.

Thanks. I’m clearing out a few watches right now because I’ve gone on a five watch binge. Wish we had a watch classifieds here!

You’re Stowa is a beauty!

I went on an under $1000 watch binge this past year and have been selling them all off. It was great fun but I realized I am not the type of watch person who changes watches daily or even weekly.

These three purchased new over the years can fit all occasions:
1994 Explorer II Polar 40mm
2009 DateJust 36mm
2018 Submariner Date 40mm

I purchased one watch from Gnomon about 5 years ago and had a good experience.

OT: Watch Talk

I picked these up over the last two months:

Seiko SKX007

Omega Seamaster

The doxa mentioned earlier

And now this is in the mail:

Seiko SLA019

Now I just have to sell my Grand Seiko snowflake and limited edition GMT and the universe will be back in balance!
