Where you add the website name look to the side and you will see something that looks like a page of a book. Click on it and a menu will come up. Click show reader. Watch the magic……maybe

Something strange I´ve noticed regarding that... Why isn´t Shimano doing advertising left-right-and-center that Pogacar won the Grand Tour-double on Dura-Ace? Is it because Shimano isn´t sponsoring UAE outright and that the team is buying the components and groupsets at wholesale / equivalent? Been wondering about this for a while.

Sorry for the slight derail. Campy back in the World Tour circus is nice, of course. I wish them well.

UAE aren't using Shimano wheels so they probably aren't being fully sponsored by Shimano. Shimano typically insists on the full package if they are fully sponsoring a team. That's why they only officially sponsor a few of the teams that they supply equipment to. DSM-Firmenech and Alpecin are two that come to mind.

That said, Shimano sponsored SKY-Ineos for years and allowed them to use other branded wheels on occasion, though Shimano wheels were their default, unlike with UAE that use Enve wheels exclusively, other than the odd disc and TT wheel.

Yes, it is probably about the money. When you sponsor a team, you gain the right to feature them in your marketing/advertising. If Shimano used Pogacar or Team UAE in their advertising, they'd have to pay them money. Since Pogacar has already won the tour, Pogacar's fee for being featured in advertising is probably higher than it would have been at the start of the season, when there was only a chance of him winning.

Really do miss the thumb shifters. Been on Campy since 1990, switched to di2 recently. Keep reaching for the thumb only to remember this is di2. I miss it.
