Ah, heck. Just use Ty-Raps (zip ties to you youngsters).
Make sure they have the metal tang.

Ya. My mechanic, who knows better, used zip ties to attach the splash guard underneath my Audi TDi. They lasted all of 50 miles, at most.

So...back I went. 90 minutes out of my day plus 30 extra minutes for his mechanic to install the proper $4 bolts (which they probably misplaced during the oil change.)

Not pleased. As I said, my guy knows better.

So...I won't be using zip ties to hold my calipers on.
