PSA Saris H3 trainer $350

Trainer on sale several places for $350. I’ve been riding the H2 for several years. H3 is similar, I just picked one up. Few years old but if you want a solid direct drive smart trainer it’s a great deal IMO.

I have an H3 and the hardware is great but the software side of things leaves something to be desired. I often have difficulty getting the trainer to connect to the Saris Utility app. I wonder if I have a dud or if this is widespread?

I've used mine for 9000 miles with no problems. Never updated it...didn't occur to me to be a thing until I read your post. Will keep that in mind if it ever skips a beat.

Do you use Zwift? any trouble connecting to Zwift?
Thinking if buying this for a backup as my Kickr is making funny noises.

I've been using my H3 with both Zwift and Trainerroad for 3+ years, flawless.

I’m not a zwift user but it seems fine with other apps that I’ve tried. It’s just their first party utility that I’ve had issues with
