My latest build. I wanted a cheapish but nice CX build to be the bike I haul on vacations. The frame came with a bent fork so I had Steve Garro at Coconino build me a new one...which I had to rattlecan because he lost his painter. Basic parts box build. Nah...that's how I've spec'd my bikes for 45 years. Thanks for your insightful input though.
Here's a pic of Ryan Trebon's 2014 bike he rode to 2nd place at the US Nationals. When you're big, sometimes the measurements look weird.

It's a beautiful bike set up just right as it is. The fork paint looks great from here--did he build it essentially to match the original? Was the steerer bent on the first?

Being that's my travel bike and will be ridden on everything from single track to city streets, AND would be away from my shop, I opted for all around/tough tires.
