That vanilla is possibly the most beautiful bike I have ever seen. If that ever came up for sale, I’d be in trouble.

I’ve had this same thought. I’ve never seen a better looking bike. My old Kirk JKS was built with this color scheme as one of the bikes I sent to JB as inspiration.

That Vanilla is stunning, I’ve had that pic saved for 10yrs, it’s why I jumped on the one from the warehouse sale. It does have me rethinking the WhiteInd crank & box section tubs.

Mini motos are far worse than discs. I don't ride the parlee all that much vs everything else but damn are they nice bikes to look at.
I have a neighbor with a Cielo Race, canti CX, approx size 58-60, that he's looking to sell. If you PM me, I can put you in touch if this interests you.

Brakes? Brake levers? We don't need no stinkin' brakes.

I saw a lot of super cool, beautiful Vanillas back in the day racing here in Portland. My Zank was pretty rad in it's original condition 11 years ago and is still a great bike rebuilt. https://forums.thepaceline.net/showt...ight=zanconato

Got this around 2016, this was probably one of the last races I did in CA before covid and relocation.

Thanks Reuben.
I remember seeing those pics, but would have to dig deep to retrieve them.
