RSL CX frames are BB30, not sure if all years but think so.

Hmmm...seems yet another Moots is joining the stable.

Actually, it will be bumping the 48cm Vamoots CR, which is a touch small for me. This one is a Vamoots 50cm and has an interesting provenance.

Can't decide whether to keep the painted fork or swap with the black one on the CR. Will have to compare rakes and steerer tube lengths...

Seems like over the years, the decal placement is kind of all over the place. Or maybe customers had put in some requests?

A buddy of mine just purchased a CR, and there SO many “Moots” decals EVERYWHERE. I prefer it only on the down tube. I do like the smaller decal details, “Made in the…” PiTech, and the gator mascot.

Current “decals”, which are actually painted or underneath the clear coat:

When I first bought it, I did a quick DIY refresh and replaced some decals. As a Designer, the most offensive example was the vertical logo on the chainstays!

Sorry, just saw this. Depending on where rotated it to, you could change height, and fore/aft BB center certainly. I think it really is not meant to be spun so the BB center in in the 6:00 position.

I usually run a 170-172.5 crank. I used a 175 on my RSL build. It seem to be enough for me kinda lowering BB V/S 170 crank 5mm. So 61+5=66. I can live with 65-70 happily myself.

So the Vamoots is now in the shop. I was going to swap the Vamoots and the Vamoots CR forks, but the CR has a tapered steerer tube. That was a bit of a surprise. Also, the Moots logo on the silver painted fork is covered by clear coat, so that's not coming off either!

I probably should change my PL name to MootsGuy!

So...the Vamoots got its fork repainted, the CR got sold, and a Psychlo X disc is about to bump the Psychlo X. Oh and a Routt 45 is replacing the Litespeed Watia.

Busy couple of weeks at the home shop.
