That sounds positive. It sounded like the biggest complaint was this person. Hopefully their replacement will be better and everyone will be happier.
I sincerely wish you the best. I had a job for a while that was quite toxic and miserable. I loved the actual work, but the working environment was terrible, and I eventually realized it just wasnt worth the stress. We spend too much time at our jobs to have them be miserable.
