That DS is sweet!

Is that like a BLE copy/tribute from DW?

Yes! That was built by Don as a tribute to Dario for the 2019 NAHBS show. Pietro graciously donated a set of BLE tubes to Don to make this project happen.

Love the pink Don Walker, though the Della Santa is equally as sweet. Shades of pink look great on bikes!

Most of my fleet have pink and/or blue involved. They are the colors of my team and my business. Case in point, here's my Bixxis-

Took my C59 to Girona this spring for a friend's 50th b-day week. Was the only one in my group that was running rim brakes and in general, saw very few rim brake bikes while we were there. Got lots of looks and compliments on my bike that week. The only thing holding me back from hanging with my fast friends on the climbs were my legs; had no issues keeping up on the descents. The C59 is a sublime descender.

Even got a bonus 5-mile gravel run-in to town on my 26mm S-Works Turbos the day I took this pic.

Rim brakes and eTap made for a superb travel bike. Set up upon arrival was easy peasy.

The tarmac sl6 is the best rim brake bike I’ve ridden. Could rave for a while about it.

Plus, direct mount brakes are very under appreciated

Pure class. And love the story; there’s nothing like when a plan comes together. And to look good doing it! I feel like your bike was made for the moment your photo captured.

Just celebrated our 14th anniversary together and I don't ask about the previous 21 years.

ONBD - Parlee resurrected

Z5SLi…overhauled and rebuilt/refit for life in the mountains where I realize even a 34/28 doesn’t cut it.
Red/Force 22 mech groupset.
Older Ardennes SL wheels - rim brake, natch!
Usual no-nonsense touch points - 3T, Flite etc.
This thing WANTS to climb.
