The first concert in the list, from the Stanley Theatre in NJ from back in ‘72 is a good listen. Surprisingly good sound from a ‘bootleg’ recording.

There was a banner hanging from the balcony that said, "get well Pigpen". During the big rocking songs like Sugar Magnolia or Casey Jones you could see the balcony bouncing up and down at least six inches. The banner was waving wide and high. I had heard that they had to condemn the theatre after these shows because of structural damage.

Interesting note, one of his former homes, I think he sold it around 2021, was on one of the most popular cycling routes in Marin county. RIP PL
