Ugh, another one. That's a lot of speed for a crash, glad you're doing semi-ok.

Take lots of detailed notes.

Good luck!

The good news is that you’re still able to post here today.

That sucks… hope you heal up fast.

I hate to say this but I had this experience. Got hit by a car many years back, thought it was fine. Next day it seemed everything was not fine, and then it was a 5 month slog before things finally started getting better again.

It's worth documenting everything.

Agreed. Many years ago I was struck by a car. The neck pain was not severe but was delayed a few weeks and lasted many months.

Sorry to hear you've joined the club. I had my induction ceremony back in 1998 in Atlanta. Really wish we could keep the number of members down.

Lots of good advice here.

I hope you heal quickly and well.

So sorry to hear about your accident, I hope you heal up quickly. A lot of ggod advice here, I’ll just add that we should all think about what we would do IN ADVANCE, so that when the inevitable happens we will have a plan rooted in our subconscious.

I had a similar accident but at 50mph many years back. Miraculously, I didn’t break anything. But I was dazed at the scene of the accident and just picked up my bike and rode home. I ended up with only a badly sprained knee but it took months to heal. I had some expenses that should have been picked up by the errant driver, and for this reason I ride with my phone today tucked in my jersey. I can take pictures and even take verbal notes if I’m shaken up and can’t type.

My ribs are likely to take a few weeks (at least) to heal up. Things still hurt when I move wrong, sleep wrong, or just reach for something

That's the part that hurts the worst

I wish you a speedy recovery. In my own experience, the advice on getting an attorney is not just good but essential.

+1. Even if you do not think you will take legal action, you need representation. Assuming you have health insurance, you need to learn what the word "subrogation" means.

picked my bike up from the rescue squad today.

The front wheel ejected from the fork and the bars are bent at 90deg. The rescue guys just screwed the skewer on like a screw which is how I'm figuring the wheel came off.

Saddle's pointing appx 15-20deg the other way. Guess I know what hit me in the butt.

Charged the Garmin. Speed track stops at 27.6kmh then you can tell it was put in a vehicle and driven off.

Gotta get the bike checked by a separate shop so it isn't my opinion
