The dirt climb up Schoolhouse Road was made all the more difficult by the Town of Austerlitz.

It hasn't rained in weeks, and the grader left a 3-4" deep layer of silt in its path.

Peak foliage is this week, summer temps continued into today. Best Fall I can recall for riding.

My birthday (70th) ride in Western PA. We rode 70km (a little over 43 miles). Beautiful Western PA fall colors. We used to ride our age in miles, but we switched to kilometers a few years ago for obvious reasons.

I'm sorry. My photos of the ride were rejected. I don't know why. Anyway, it was a great ride through peak colors in Western PA
