Love how this bike turned out.

Over the summer I had bought a Seven to try out, but the geometry wound up being compltely bad for me, so moved most of the parts over to this frame.

First ride planned for tomorrow.

Pics are in the sun and shade (no filter) to show how much different the color looks from light to shade. I have a feeling this is going to be a keeper!

Got a good shakeout ride today in the rolling hills of NJ farmland.

This bike is really good. I got the frame/fork/headset for just about $1k delivered to my door, and with that in mind it's a great value. With absolutely no weight weenie parts it built up to 17.2 lbs, which is respectable for a steel bike. I could lose more weight if I had paid more attention and spent additional dollars building it up. The Bora 35's are just wonderful on this bike, and I'm really enjoying the 1x drivetrain on the road for the solo riding I usually do.

Bike climbs competently, and descends confidently. I had it going downhill very near 50mph today and there was no drama, solid and predictable handling. I can easily no-hand ride the bike, which is always a good sign of a well balanced fit and ride.

More thoughs as I get more miles, but very happy with the build and the ride as of ride #1. I can see this getting many more road miles.

I agree with your assessment and I expect you will continue to enjoy the Logic.

I built mine in the spring with older Dura-ace 9000 group, alloy DT Swiss wheels, alloy stem, bars, etc. (in other words, nothing special or weight-oriented) and it came in at exactly 18 lbs. It took me a while to get it dialed in because of Ritchey's geometry. I eventually ordered the size 55 which has an effective top tube of over 56, which stretches me a bit but the lower size has a top tube that would have been far too short for me. So, after a bit of trial and error, I built it with a slightly shorter stem (100mm versus 110mm) and short reach bars ... the fit is perfect.

I'm no longer racing, but I still like to go fast and I ride in some spirited group rides. I had heard that the Logic is quite flexy and, therefore, a bit sluggish so I set my expectations accordingly. However, I have been very pleasantly surprised at how quick and responsive the Logic is and how well it handles at high speeds. Also, it is one of the most comfortable bikes I have ever owned (and I have owned a LOT of bikes). I am hesitant to make comparisons, but the ride quality, acceleration, and handling of the Logic reminds me a bit of my old Serotta CSi. But, as I said, I do not race this bike so take my comments in that context.

I love mine and put 3,000 miles on it over the summer.
