LHTs hold a special place in my heart. Did a tour from Austin to Bozeman with one.

Nice seeing this one back up on the front page.

I think I have had an itch to scratch for a drop bar 26" bike for a while and I could use a project - is anyone holding a medium-ish (17/18" frame) 26er, with a matching rigid fork? I've been casually fishing around for a 90's cannondale mtb frame, I really like the look of the fat aluminum tubes & pepperoni fork but I could be tempted to go a different direction.

My other 26ers...

I’m in the market as well and would love to pick up one in the Bay Area. I sold my 97 stumpjumper a few years ago and regret it.

Here is my dekerf, partially built up

Ended up going back to a flat bar, more versatile and comfortable for the type of riding I do on this bike.

Making progress... I switched the wheels to a set of Mavic Crossmax I found, and sourced a stem (at least to start) that works with my nice modern bend bars I got.

Waiting on a cable hanger that sits a little lower and need to figure out why my brake cables dont fit in my sim works cable housing.
