It’s so easy and quick, there is not really a reason not to throw them on a charger when your bike isn’t being ridden, and they are fully charged in less than an hour.

As to transporting an AXS bike, depending on where I go, and if my car/bike will be out of sight for any time, I may remove the batteries and put the red plastic protective caps on the derailleurs to protect the contacts from the elements. I’ve been concerned at times that the batteries will walk away.
