I'm using R-H Snoqualmie Pass (standard casing) tires with tubes. Do these tires have an anti-puncture belt? I'm concerned about flat proofness, but don't want to go back to sealant. My gut feel is that these tires definately roll well, but their puncture proofness is lacking.
Update: looked at bicyclerollingresistance.com and the R-H tire Snowqualme Pass (700x44) puncture resistance was 34 points vs. the GravelKing SS (700x40) was 45 points. Difference in rolling resistance was 2.2 watts (R-H better). Is that rolling resistance difference significant (doesn't seem like much)? I have both types of tires. I think I'll choose the GravelKing SS's. My seat of the pants evaluation is that the R-H tires with butyl tubes rolled smoother than the GK SS tires with sealant (same tire pressure). Not sure if I felt I was riding any faster.
