In a similar vein, while I'm a lifelong Dodgers fan, I will only attend games by using public transportation or any other option that allows me to avoid paying for parking since Frank McCourt still owns a portion of the parking concession. That guy too can have his file system checked (bonus points for the Unix nerds that get that one).

Not at all, but I think that one lies more at the feet of the city government and less with O'Malley. Not that it's an excuse, but the vast majority of the local LatinX population seems to have gotten over it.

I'd think you guys would be outraged at Stoneham for inflicting decades of Candlestick Park on you! (sorry)

My post was in gest, of course, and I'm not a Giant's fan and never will be. I am an Oakland A's fan who'll be open minded when they move to Sacto and write them, and MLB, off if they actually make it to Sin City.

Ah, apologies, I should have realized.

Wouldn't it be amazing if the A's are a wild success in Sactown, the Nevada legislature reverses itself, and Fisher has to fund a new stadium out of his own pockets? (Listed in descending order of probability, the last one being within epsilon of zero.)
