Worst day in cycling in a while

Bas van Belle and Muriel Furrer both passing today, not even adults yet.

18 and 24 sounds like adults to me. Though I can't see why their age has anything to do with the loss. Murriel died from injuries in a race crash at Word Champs but all I could find on Bas was "unexpected passing".

While it's sad that these young athletes passed away, the high and low points of competitive bike racing are completely irrelevant to cycling as an activity.
