Yeah I kinda want one now. Do you know what brake reach the caliper version is designed around? I emailed earlier today but haven't got a response yet. The State is long reach (i.e 55-73mm R559).

The website says long reach and the stated tire clearance is 700x43, so I would assume Squid is referring to 55-73 as well.

I agree. I just hate the ambiguity when lots of the industry calls 49-59 calipers long reach.

They have Paul Racer's for sale in their online store for the SO-EZ which have 57-72mm reach and are excellent, expensive brakes.
