I remember Trek telling us aeolus wheels were worn once you see 3k carbon on brake tracks showing through. These are just about into the rim cavity lol

Cx wheels can take a beating. A technical course that requires a lot of hard braking with wet sandy/gritty conditions can really do a number on a carbon brake track.

At least the seller had good photos to show the actual condition.

Maybe good hill climb wheels where you never touch the brakes 🙄
