Compact Bolt-On Top Tube Bags

Hey0,

Is anyone using a bolt-on top tube bag that is between 2.25" and 2.75" tall?

I see a bunch are offered in the 3-4" range but I really just want something minima to stuff my wallet and iPhone mini in.

Yeah, yeah, jersey pockets.
Yeah, yeah, handlebar bags.

Do you know the dims? They don't seem to be published on that page.

Thanks!

Here is another set of pictures, and also lists capacity at 40cubic inches. You can compare that with the Revelate Mag Tank which is listed at 55cu in. and has the dimensions listed. That should give you a rough idea.

I just went through this, and wound up with the small Rock Geist Cache . They also list dimensions. I like that company and have a couple other custom bags from them.

It seems like there are a ton of options from different companies these days.

Most bags taper from the tallest point so make sure you’d be able to fit your iPhone.

Yeah, I own 2 of them. They're great. Just not what I want for this bike.

Yeah I saw that too. I might want something that doesn't quite exist.

Maybe I can find a flip phone or a V70.

I have the Restrap bolt on bag, it's pretty small but still 4 or 5 inches tall. My wife's Cervelo Aspero has the Aspero branded bag and it is very short. I measured the Cervelo bag at 2.5 inches tall and 10 inches long, my iPhone 13 mini with a minimal bumper case has to be turned diagonally to fit in the bag. Possibly they sell that separately?

Looks to be the Smartpak 400A, out of stock at Excel but someone may have one available.

I have the new Cervelo Aspero that came with their bolt-on bag. I just checked and there's no way to get my Google Pixel in there, it's really for snacks only. (But it works great for that!)

I think that for the dimensions you're talking about here, you're going to need a really small phone.

On my Aspero, I'm using the Cervelo top tube bag, and the little frame pack from ALMSTHRE. The little frame pack holds my phone just fine. Maybe you would consider that combination?

No. But it looks to be about 1” shorther than this one that I use: https://www.arundelbike.com/product/top-tube-tycoon/, which is 3 1/2” tall.

The lead out bag is nice too. It is 3” tall: https://leadoutgear.com/collections/...e-top-tube-bag
