Not going to happen with 11 speed Shimano systems unless you ride around with the E-TUBE Wireless Unit connected to your system.

I read this earlier today, pretty funny stuff. I know that at least a handful of my riding buddies would love to be able to mess with my shifting during the sprint... Haha

You could look at this 2 ways.
One is some nefarious thing where someone is going to stand on the side of a race and mess everything up. The other is the information they were able to access would allow other companies to make compatible products that would give more flexibility or save money over what Shimano dictates you can use. |

I saw this and figured that the whole peloton would be reduced to single speed, just like the old days when everyone smoked, carried tubulars like bandoliers, and wore goggles.
