Do Wahoo computers ever go on sale?

Wife is taking the edge 530 and I’m looking at a new roam to replace it. Everything else seems to be on sale now, but not seeing anything from wahoo.

Ha......I was keeping an eye out for sales and scouring Ebay/OfferUp/Stevebay for close to month before I gave up and pulled trigger

I'll also add that I have been completely blown away with my Wahoo Bolt

HIGHLY recommend it.......

I recommend a Garmin Edge 1030+ or 1040. You won't need anything else. Why compromise?

I consider those models a compromise and prefer the Karoo

Recently demoed a 1040 and found it a lovely, easy to read screen but also a smudge magnet that was highly reflective and didn’t work well with the sun directly behind me. Impressive battery and even more impressive cost!

By all means, use what you like. I never found anything that did well with the sun at my back. But it doesn't bother me much, as I always ride in a group and mostly focus on the road ahead and my group. I should mention that with the Garmin, one can crank up the brightness (manually) which largely solves the issue with the sun at our back. Regardless, in a group the Garmin doesn't get a lot of attention other than I do keep an eye on the Varia radar. If I ride alone and navigate, I just stop for a moment if necessary, to get a better or more detailed view of my navigation screen. Not a bit deal, as I am not being dropped.

If you happen to have an old one, call and ask about an upgrade path. I did and got 40% off a V2 Bolt

I'd think the Roam is due for an update?

He said it was large. I wonder if it is meant to appeal to riding indoors or something?

Sounds dangerous.

My first thought on this was to check REI since it's the annual sale, but dang the Wahoo's are ineligible for the 20% discount. REIFail.

Check out Colorado Cyclist. I think they have one at a pretty good discount.
