Are these blems?

Spurcycle Original Bell built using parts that have a range of obvious surface or finish defects but still ring beautifully. The surface defects vary. Minor coating irregularities on black bells tend to be more conspicuous. No parts are damaged or dysfunctional. All carry our usual lifetime guarantee.

Yes, they are blems. But you may not notice any visible defect at all, just a QC worker would.

I have a couple of these and they look and work great.

Yes, but I have 3 and honestly can't find what the issues are. Also, One of them didn't work right. Constantly dinged when I hit the smallest bump. I figured that was the defect, but called to see if there was anything I could do. They replaced it, no charge.

I thought they told customers to bend the spring when that happens.

It was that the screw wouldn't tighten enough to hold the dome in place. It wasn't dinging against the striker. It was dinging against itself.
