Show Me Your Minimalist Tool Bag
The recent TPU tube thread ignited an OCD search for the most minimal saddlebag setup. I figure a few more tweaks, and I’ll get it into the Ax-Lightness saddle. I’m really happy with the result, so far. Mounts to the rails with a Velcro wire tie.
Just as simple as requesting the belt loop be rotated by 90° in the memo section, Jeremy fixed me right up. https://www.etsy.com/listing/1388246171/ |

are you protecting the tube from getting rubbed against at all? I'd be pretty afraid of the CO2 head or cylinder rubbing a hole in that tube, esp in a tightly packed bag..

I tape my tube between two Park Boots. The tape has come in as handy as the other items.

I use a tiny little Orucase that Gaimon had cookies printed on, I can fit two tubolitos in it, multi-tool, two levers, CO2.

I used to use a Silca saddle bag.
Because I now regularly rotate among bikes, I keep my tools in a jersey zipper pouch and keep it in my middle jersey pocket. |

Even given that you have more than 1 bike, wouldn't you tend to rotate jerseys probably more often than you do bikes?

The lightest saddle bag at 22g, almost always out of stock. Dyneema. More coming this Saturday though after a few months of silence. I pack mine with a TPU tube, Daysaver Essential8, Prestacycles mini pump, glueless patch, and lightweight lever.

I keep tubes in my pocket. That being said, I fit 2 levers, 2 20g co2 plus head, a multi tool and some park glueless patches in this quite nicely. About $15-20 depending on the day. I switched from Lezyne micro as the velcro wasn't holding up and had to use a toe strap (Binda!)

I thought TPU and CO2 were no bueno?
Legitimate question here from someone who would love to put a TPU tube in the bag but doesn't want to haul a pump... |

My advice is to not dump the whole CO2 cartridge in one go, rather do it gradually or in bursts. |
